So,... This is the story of how I now have a huge chalkboard on my kitchen wall. At the time Charlie was gone for the weekend watching Tanner playing baseball. This is how I "chose" the story went down. I was painting a larger piece and I had watered down the pink paint to get a distressed look, I didn't realize I had splatter on wall and floor. The paint came off so easy off the floor, but not from the wall. In that split second there were two options that popped in my mind. Go get the rubbing alcohol to get it off or paint over it. Well Of Course I voted for paint over it. I had to cover the paint that with gentle rubbing would not come off... Lol I had chalkboard paint and within 15 minutes I was measuring, rolling the chalkboard paint on the wall! I knew I had to add a few of my doodles, so I just painted white what I was wanting to add. I added the base colors of the symbols and boarder. The next day Charlie was coming home, I wanted to completely finished. Unfortunately that didn't happen!!! So late, late that night I found my granddaughter's chalk and wrote a message to Charlie. The next day as my husband went into the kitchen I stood to side to take a candid of his "joy" of discovering my new masterpiece! He loved it!!!! I think as each of my kids saw it at, first thought I was Crazy!! Lol But...... Then I saw they started •••expressing themselves••• Then I got in on it! Then Leah and I got into chalking as she calls it. My granddaughters love it. They chalk each time they come over! I still had not finished all that I wanted to do with the wall art! So finally I got back and finished it!!!
