​Art with a Message, I call my style Messy, Colorful, Beautiful hearts, dots and swirls!

My style of drawing and painting is what I like to call messy whimsical hearts, dots and swirls. It carries a powerful significance and beauty that can empower your life. I believe it is a ministry, a gift that carries a powerful anointing.  Not only can God use our words as in prophetic ministry, He can also use the simple strokes of a brush or a marker.
I started drawing my unique Whimsical, Messy, Colorful way in the 90's and it seems with each passing year my style just keeps growing and evolving. I love picking a verse and watching how it turns out. I enjoy the process as much as the finished product! I believe it's a way to minister to the heart, soul and mind. Each color, doodle and swirl has a reason and a purpose. When we each find a verse special to us it can change the way we feel, how we see things and bring us peace. I Love creating with markers on paper and painting on pretty much anything you can paint on! But my absolute favorite is taking something someone sees as junk and turning it into a wonderful Treasure! My Love for seeing the beauty in all things and to see a smile on someones face because of the art, the treasure it is and the words that encouraged them. None of my art pieces are perfect and honestly they are messy and unbalanced, yet there is still beauty in them. I believe that is true for each of us, as none of us are perfect but there is beauty in each of you.

​I wanted to learn scripture, so I took my children's markers and started doodling away. Then we lost our home, those simple little verses became more than me learning verses, I hung on to every word I drew! Hanging on to the promises I had doodled helped me stand and be strong during a difficult time in my life. Soon others saw my drawings and wanted their favorite verses in their favorite colors. As I grew more in the Love for those words, so did the style of my art. Now I see the blessings, the hope that each verse, color, swirl, dot and heart gives to the one it was made/chosen by. I have been Blessed by the art, but even more now by the way the art blesses others!
