Are you Born Again as Jesus speaks of in the Bible? What I mean is, have you had a real conversation with God?
Image a blank piece of paper before you and God tells you to write everything down you wish you didn't do/that is wrong/what you would not want anyone know that you did.. doing.. or even will do; also write what you want to let go of, what hurts you/torments you and anything you have done to hurt.. harm.. disappoint.. stolen.. lied.. cheated.. etc, etc, etc... Write it all down and then at bottom write I'm sorry, forgive me. Then you hand it over to God and watch as He tears it up into dust and all blows away, never to be known by God again.
That is the simplest way to explain what happens in the transitioning from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light! Repenting of all and embracing His eternal and loving forgiveness, asking Jesus to come into your heart and be your guide, your best friend, your Lord. Knowing He will always be there to help you turn from everything that is not of God so you can forever Serve Him, Love Him and Worship Him!
This is the first step to a life changing relationship of not just knowing of God, but learning You are a friend of God, he created you, longs to be with you and has made a place
in heaven for you.
If you can't answer yes to this OR you just have doubts whether you Know you will spend eternity in Heaven, then go to a place that you and God can have a heart to heart talk! Tell him how you cannot do life without Him, how sorry you are for trying to do everything without Him and making messes and mistakes! Just come to Him, no Run into His arms and tell Daddy everything that you hurt with and want him to save you from! Then tell him All you want to turn from, how you need His help, just be honest and receive all he has for you. You then can tell satan he no longer has power over you! Tell Him you are in God's Kingdom and are clean and pure because of the Blood of Jesus! You then can declare your Victory, you are in God's Kingdom, all your sins wiped away,You Belong to God! It really is that simple, It is a matter of the heart, but it is confessed with your mouth, You and your Daddy together!
You are now "Born Again" – Yes, you are Blood bought, sealed by God above, your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
But wait,...there is More!!!
It doesn't just stop there. Once you step into the Kingdom of God, not only did He rejoice, but He has a Special gift for you! One that will help you, guide you, comfort you and teach you.
The infilling of the Holy Spirit!
The Holy Spirit will dwell in you and always help you, but most importantly it will help you pray when you just do not know what to pray. If you want all that Jesus has for you, then ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit and say this with all your heart.
Father,..I come to you and ask for the promised gift of the Holy Spirit. I ask that you fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I receive Him from you and according to your Word, the Bible, I can now pray in other tongues. Thank you, Thank you Jesus!!!
One last thing...
You now are a new citizen of the Kingdom of God. If you were to move to a new county you would need to get all their info to know what it is like to be in their county. What worked in your old county will now not work in your new one, everything has changed. That is the same with the Kingdom of God. You must know how to live in the Kingdom of God and all His wonderful promises. Go out and get a bible – read – read – read the bible everyday!!! Let it renew your mind so you are a fully equipped citizen in the Kingdom of God. Also find a bible based, Jesus following church and as Psalm 92:13 says “Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
God has placed creative wonder in us all. He made us creative so we can do whatever our passion, drive or even a hobby is to reach out and touch those that are within our sphere. Whether you feel you are in the mist of your creative passion or you feel you have absolutely no creativity take His challenge, go deeper and see what God has for you.....Seek His Vision!

My art has been apart of my families lives as much as it has been in mine. Through all the up and downs I have experienced with my art, somehow I always come back and find comfort in it. To see how God not only has used it in my life, but see how yet one more time how He used it to Bless and Encourage. Not only that, but getting to Listen to the Testimonies of how it made a difference never grows old. It makes me smile to think with the addition of decorating sugar cookies it makes me think completely outside the box! I laugh and explain... I am not a baker in a bakery who makes cookies, I am a artist in my studio creating an art piece and within that creative process my cookie decor is not your average "cookie cutter" cookie! They are just as my other pieces of art.... my Messy, Colorful style!
Now that the Cookie Art has become as much a part of my medium as my markers and paints I love that I can make people smile in a whole new way!
